The staff at Don Chicho were very friendly and acted quickly to address room problems. But the room was dirty: there was mold in a bathroom corner, dust packed into the AC unit, dirty floors, stains on the bed, and trash left by previous guests. The shower was rusty, and when I first turned on the sink, brown water came out and the leaky faucet sprayed me in the face. My roommate and I could also hear RATS scurrying in the walls, which made it hard to sleep. Don Chicho may have a lovely staff and a good location, but it wasn’t worth staying there. I’d choose another hotel or hostel.

The rooms were clean, and the family-friendly feel made the stay lovely. It was also easy to get to the main amenities in the downtown area of the island.

The staff were great, the place was clean, and the A/C worked well. The price was fair too. I'd come back.

There’s a shared sitting area with a view over the central park, and the rooms each have a private bathroom.

Right in the middle of town, and a good hotel.
