We only booked here because everywhere else was full. The rooms were clean and had AC, but several things were damaged: the bathroom knob was broken, the shower drain had no cover, and the kitchen counter was rotting particle board. We rented two rooms and had to ask for blankets, since only two of the four beds had them. Two windows had signs of previous break-ins and broken locks, so I used a closet rod to brace one.

The place felt unsafe and run-down, and the cleanliness was awful. After I moved the bed to reach an outlet, I found piles of sand, then housekeeping blamed me for it. Even after showering, I felt dirtier than before. We were given just two small, thin towels. When I complained, the owner wrote a libelous complaint about me.

I liked the area, but we left with a bad impression. I was traveling with five senior women, and the staff treated us very rudely. The kitchen was horrible, and they wouldn't show us a room because it was in deplorable condition. Worst place I've ever visited.
