Nowhere

Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, and the reception team gave us useful advice. We really enjoyed staying at Nowhere and to Bocas, just outside Bocas Town, about a $2 taxi ride away. Once you turn into the drive, it feels like stepping into a forest oasis, with the pods tucked thoughtfully among the greenery and a shared central area. We heard howler monkeys at night and spotted hummingbirds during the day. The rooms are simple and beautiful. Just know there are no curtains or blinds, so daylight wakes you, and the bathroom pod has no door. Neither bothered us.

The staff gave us lots of helpful information and recommendations. We had a really relaxing stay, with the place feeling like a little oasis in the jungle.

I woke up with the sun and jungle sounds, surrounded by fresh air, greenery, and monkeys in the trees. The room was one of the most unusual places I've stayed, and that was a big part of the charm. There’s no TV or other electronics in the room. It feels tucked away in the middle of nowhere, but Bocas Town is only a few minutes off, and there’s a restaurant across the street with beach access. The staff were lovely and helpful. It was such a memorable stay that I've already booked another visit for my birthday in about a month. It felt perfect for me.

The howler monkeys waking you each morning was an amazing part of the stay. The place is beautiful, breakfast was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and ready to help. I hadn't realized when booking that there’s no A.C., only a fan to move the air. A couple of nights got hot, though a shower helped. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back.
