Lula’s Bed & Breakfast

Lula’s is quiet enough for a good night’s sleep but still within walking distance of lots of places in Bocas Town. Tammy and Allan were gracious, friendly hosts who shared helpful travel information with us. I’d stay there again without hesitation.

It’s about a 10-minute walk to both the airport and the main strip, where you’ll find restaurants and boat taxis. The breakfast was great, and there’s a nice veranda where you can sit with a beer. It’s a lovely two-storey house with en suite rooms and a small shared kitchen. Great place.

Breakfast was great, and sitting with other guests gave us a chance to meet people. The hospitality was second to none. The staff and owner were so nice, and it really felt like a home away from home. You’re close to all the action but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. I’ll come again and again.

The breakfast at Lula’s was fresh and delicious every morning, and sitting outside with juice in the breeze was a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere relaxed, and the location made it easy to walk around town while still having somewhere quiet to chill. Tammy is what makes the place special. She looked after us like an old friend, with tips on food, worthwhile tours, and getting around. She was warm, funny, and clearly cared about making our trip a good one. She even lent us scuba gear, which made exploring the water easier and more fun. Bocas is wonderful already, but staying at Lula’s with Tammy running things made the trip even better.
