I spent five nights here in Bocas, and the location is hard to beat. There are food options nearby, the bus to playa estrella is close, and it’s easy to book tours. As a bonus, you can watch the other planes land and catch the 5 p.m. multi deportivo game across the field. Thanks, M and team!

I ended up here after Air Panama canceled my flight, and I wasn’t expecting a five-star hotel. Still, the floor was filthy, there was no cover provided, and the bathroom had no hot water. There was hair and sand on the bathroom floor. Worst of all, there were bed bugs. I woke up with bites all over my body and my face.

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Calle 6. The rooms were clean and conveniently located. My favorite part was chatting with Marcel and the other guests in the outdoor seating area.

I stayed for three nights and found the hotel very clean. The beds were comfortable, and there’s air conditioning in the room. The owner and receptionist were always ready to help. Bring earplugs, though, since the hotel is right across from the airport runway.

We stopped in just for lunch. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and they also serve strong, flavorful single-origin coffee. It’s very close to the airport, which is convenient. The place is clean, cozy, and well organized.
