Hotel Residencial Panamericano

I had appointments just two blocks away, so the location suited me. The staff were really nice, and the room was very clean, though the showerhead and toilet seat were both broken and needed repairs.

We stayed one night while passing through David and found it comfortable and good value for a basic, clean stop. The helpful receptionist talked us through getting water and food during our late check-in, then booked a reasonably priced taxi to the bus terminal in the morning. The hot shower was great, and Wi-Fi worked well. The old air conditioner was noisy, and a shower mat would help prevent slipping. We had two bars of soap and a couple of towels. The hotel is by a 24-hour PetrolPrices station with places to sit and get food or drinks, plus basic conveniences. The area felt fairly safe and new, but the main road is busy with car traffic.

It feels safe, and the place was very clean and comfortable. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance, and getting here is easy.

At $33 a night, it’s an affordable, clean hotel. Since it sits right beside the highway, it gets a little noisy.
