Casa Morrillo

The beach is beautiful, which makes the poor rooms a shame. They’re very basic and feel far too expensive. The beds are small with firm mattresses, there’s no hot water, and the limited electricity means little light and only limited fan use in the rooms. Some rooms had leaks, and the shower curtains are too short, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

It’s a wild, beautiful spot, a real paradise for surfers and nature lovers. We had a great time at Casa Morrillo. The staff are super friendly, the beach-facing rooms are simple but very good, and they make good meals. We even had ceviche made with the catch of the day. We’d love to return.

The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and switch off from the daily rush. There’s a beautiful beach right in front, perfect for a morning walk or just sitting by the sea, and the food is great. The host made sure every detail was taken care of during my stay. Casa Morrillo is a real gem, and I’d highly recommend it for a refreshing getaway.

Walking along the beach to the sound of the waves was a highlight, along with the amazing team running the place. I spent a weekend here on a relaxed, sustainable getaway, disconnected from everything and enjoyed being in nature. The setting is stunning. I left feeling grateful and recharged, and I’m already dreaming of coming back. I can’t recommend it enough.
