4/10
I booked through expedia expecting a King bed, but they put me in a tight room with two full beds instead, and the bed wasn't comfortable. The white comforter had yellow stains, and the AC unit was really loud. On the upside, the bathroom was clean, the water was very warm, the free breakfast was decent, and the rooftop was beautiful.

At Best Western Plus Panama Zen Hotel, I found the staff courteous, responsive, and ready to help. Check-in was smooth, and the modern, clean lobby made a good first impression. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with comfortable bedding, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a work desk, and reliable Wi-Fi. Soundproofing was good, so I had a peaceful stay. Housekeeping kept the rooms and common areas spotless, and the bathrooms were bright and hygienic, with fresh towels and toiletries. The hotel has a convenient location near business areas, shopping, and transport, while still feeling calm. The in-house restaurant offered a good mix of local and international food. Breakfast was well organized, with fresh, flavorful options, and room service was prompt and consistently satisfying. For both business and leisure, it felt like a peaceful, comfortable place with professional hospitality and good value. I'd recommend it to families, couples, and anyone staying short or long term.

The first day was fine, but on the second I spotted more than six cockroaches of different sizes in the bathroom and sleeping area. Be careful with your luggage, since it's easy to bring a cockroach home.

We only spent one night there, and it was a nice stay. The room was good, and we got welcome drinks at check-in. The breakfast buffet wasn't very good, though.

10/10
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. Our room was spacious and had a huge shower. At first the bed looked uncomfortable, but it was deceptive. I slept like a dream. I was a little worried about the location, but it turned out great, with a very local feel, good restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and lots of Panama within easy walking distance. When your feet get tired, you can grab a cab or Uber. We were very satisfied with our stay.
