Hundreds of giant palm trees surround the hotel, with green mountains in the background and the beach close by. There’s a pool in the quiet garden, and our terrace looked out over the pool area. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the friendly owner was helpful. He has Romanian-Italian roots. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The food, hospitality, and peaceful feel of this place were all lovely. The owners are caring and a lot of fun to talk to. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. A total gem.

I first tried to book for our trip to David, but we couldn’t arrive before 10pm because we were traveling from Panama, and the owner wouldn’t let us check in then. The woman was a bit unpleasant. Since the comments were so good, I tried again on our way back to Panama. She said she only had a triple room, which couldn’t fit two adults and three small kids. I said that was fine with us, since the kids usually sleep with us anyway. This time she was ruder and said, “LADY KIDS ARE PERSONS!!!” Yes, kids are people, but you can’t count a 3 year old kid as a person! Now I see in the Google comments that she’s not only a kids hater but racist too.

The houses are clean and nicely furnished, and the service is friendly and polite. There’s an amazing jungle view, and in the beautiful garden you can spot lots of birds by the two clean swimming pools.

We spent 13 days here, and the pool and Jaccuzzi kept the kids and us entertained for hours. The views of the palm plantation and mountains behind it are stunning. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were clean and air conditioned, with a nice patio for relaxing with a book or enjoying the scenery. Absolutely fantastic place to stay.
