Hotel Latino

It was quite affordable and close to the center, and the staff were kind and helpful. We’d booked a spot in the free closed parking, but our car still had to spend the night on the street outside the hotel. Security kept an eye on it, though, and nothing happened.

Sorry, this was a really bad place. They gave me a room with dirty sheets and a dirty bathroom, and nobody cleaned the room during the six days I was there. The pool was very dirty too. For $20, that’s a lot to put up with.

A man on the street pointed us here when I asked him for a cheap, safe, clean hotel with hot water. The receptionist was very friendly, and the room was clean and nice with good internet. What more do you need? For two nights it was fantastic for me as a traveler, though if you’re visiting Panama City on vacation, you should look for somewhere better.

The hotel sits in a good area of Calidonia, Panama City, and has decent rooms, free WiFi, and a rooftop pool with nice views. The restaurant food was poor, and the customer service wasn’t good. It needs an upgrade. Locals also use it as a place for short-term sexual encounters.
