It was $22 a night and everything looked old. The bathroom was run down, and the AC was freezing cold because the knob was broken and I couldn’t control it. The TV was good and the location was really good. There were girls around the streets at night, but they didn’t cause much trouble.

For a cheap overnight layover, this worked perfectly, especially with the free shuttle. The shuttle guy was easy to find, and the room was a nice size with a fridge, desk, and couch. The AC was cold, and the shower was piping hot with great pressure. I don’t speak Spanish, but managed the whole thing. Just taking an Uber there and back would have cost the same as this hotel. I wasn’t looking for fancy, just cheap, and this was the least expensive option I found once I factored in the shuttle. It’s not somewhere I’d pick for a honeymoon. The place is a little rundown and could be cleaner, so I’m taking off a star.

The rooms aren’t up to date, but cleaning is very good, and the showers and hot water are really good. The staff are friendly and helpful when you need something. The location is good, with the metro just around the corner. You get a lot for your money here, and it’s a really good place to stay for a while.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the AC worked excellently. It’s economical for anyone visiting Panama, with complimentary coffee throughout the day. The manager and staff were very friendly to guests when they arrived and during their stay. If you’re visiting Panamà, stay at hotel villa del mar.
