Hyatt Regency Panama City Hotel

The hotel is a lovely space, and as a Globalist we were upgraded to a top-floor suite. The desk and restaurant staff were amazing and very helpful. Evening drinks and food were excellent, and there was a lot to choose from across the buffet tables at breakfast, though we rushed through it. By far one of the best Category 3 Hyatts I’ve stayed in.

The building is new, very clean, and modern, and our room had a stunning view of the banking district skyscrapers. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety, and the staff were happy to make food to my specifications. Joyner at the omelette station is awesome! Staff at the Hyatt Regency Panama City were eager to make the visit first class, and replied right away to my emails asking about transportation to the hotel and a full-day Panama City tour. This hotel was a pleasant surprise on my week-long trip to Panama. I’ll stay there again on future visits. Highly recommended.

The gym was the best hotel gym I’ve been in, with excellent equipment and a wide variety, better than some actual gyms. Rooms are large and clean, and staff were attentive and friendly. I had an excellent burger at the restaurant. The breakfast looked nice, though I didn’t have time to try it. The pool is nice, but gets little sunlight during the day, which is a shame. Drinks by the pool are very expensive. For the price, I’d expect basics like toothpaste and floss in the room. You could probably request them, but I’d expect them to be provided. It’s a great, clean hotel and I’d stay again.

My daughter and I came from California for a few days in Panama and were extremely satisfied with the facilities. The service was excellent, and especially the food was high quality. Breakfasts stood out for their variety, flavor, and presentation. Congratulations to Chef Vladimir Rojas in particular! We can’t wait to come back.
