The staff were friendly, and my room was spotless, with a comfy bed and wonderfully hot showers. It’s an older hotel, but nicely furnished, and I really enjoyed staying here. Everything’s within walking distance.

The common areas at the Saba are neat, and there’s a tiny restaurant that serves a delicious breakfast. I really liked my stay. My room was small and simple, with a trendy feel, and it was a welcome break from the heat. The TV had two English channels plus some good Latin options. Sabrina at the front desk was sweet and sort of bilingual. The view was just a parking lot, so it could’ve been better, but I’ll be back.

The location is nice, but I think there are much better places to stay in Panama. The building felt kind of sketchy, and getting in and out means carrying two keys: a key card and a key on a lanyard for the front door. It’s annoying, and wearing the lanyard makes you look like a tourist. There isn’t really a reception, though the woman there was friendly, and replies on WhatsApp were quick and friendly too. One day the elevator wasn’t working. The room also barely had enough soap for showering, washing hands, or washing hair, so bring your own shampoo or soap. They charge $20 USD if you lose the key card, which is half a night’s stay. That seems ridiculous for a plastic card that costs less than $1.
