Casa Caracol Suites

The private beach felt natural, and low tide was especially lovely. We stayed in the Conch suite in December, and the host was quick to respond to our questions and requests. The room was comfortable, well organized, and had everything we needed. The bed was awesome and the shower incredible. We also got a helpful guide for markets and a day trip.

There aren't many restaurants or things to do nearby, so you'll absolutely need a car. My husband and I came to see Panama, and this was a beautiful, clean place to stay, with stunning views and a simple, up-to-date style. Everything about the Airbnb was excellent. If you're after peace and quiet and lovely views, it's a great stay.

The location is beautiful and there's not a lot of tourism around, but our stay was badly affected by the water problems. While they were working on or replacing the pump, the water stopped running with no warning. Even after it was supposedly fixed, the flow was still too weak for a proper shower, and that was never resolved during our two days there. They didn't seem to care much. Without those problems, this would be a five-star review, but the way issues are handled and clear communication matter.

The Penthouse suite was gorgeous for our week there, with nice furnishings, useful kitchen amenities, and an awesome view. You'll need a car to get around, though from here you can explore the whole coastline. I'd recommend the hotel and would consider staying again if I return to Panama.
