The rooms are pretty austere, though the decor is nice. Right in the middle of the village, and good value for the money.

The room was big, clean, and modern, and the whole place is well kept. It's tucked away but still in town, so you can walk to the store and some excellent restaurants. The host welcomed us warmly and was very helpful, and there was safe parking. The area has a quaint feel, with a park nearby where local people hang out. This isn't a five-star hotel, but it gets five stars from me.

I found this while looking for an affordable room near the beach and was glad I did. The beach is just a short walk, and the evenings get really quiet and peaceful. Nice breakfast and really good people. I stayed a few nights and would happily come back.

The room was huge and the bed comfortable, and there was even a small kitchen with cooking gear. I only had cold water in the shower, which was the one drawback. Remember to bring cash, since they don't take credit cards. A good place to stay around San Carlos.

This charming, tranquilo town is a lovely part of San Carlos, Panama, and San Carlos Beach Inn feels like a little paradise. Coronado is only 15 minutes away, with two big super makets, a spa, and a nail salon. The beach is beautiful, and the rooftop terrace, with its grill, is a great spot to hang out. Courtney and Edgar gave exceptional service and went out of their way to make the stay special. I've been traveling through South and Central America for six months, and thanks to these two hosts, this has been the highlight. Do yourself a favor and visit this charming oasis.
