We stayed for three nights and were the only guests on the property, with just the groundskeeper around. The office and restaurant were closed Monday and Tuesday, and there was nobody to contact if we had a problem. It's a decent place to stay otherwise, though there is no ocean view. The staff were friendly when they were onsite, which is why I'm giving it two stars.

We came with kids, and there was plenty of room for us. The rooms have cable TV, and the beach is so close that we went there several times a day. Everything feels thoughtfully done, the place is cozy and comfortable, the service is great, and the food is delicious. We'll definitely keep coming back.

We loved it so much that we extended our stay three times. El Palmar is a special, quiet beach neighborhood, though there aren't many tourist services around.

The girl who served us was okay, but the food was very bad. The fried chicken, shrimp with garlic, and chicken filet were all really dry. The fried chicken didn't seem fried, and even the French fries seemed like they hadn't been fried.

The food was good, but the breakfast service was awful. We're not hotel guests, and when we stopped by this morning, the waitress treated us like we were bothering her. She was incredibly unkind, never smiled, and didn't even reply when we thanked her.
