We couldn’t get to sleep until 2 a.m. because people were shouting and playing music, and there was nobody at reception or in administration to help. The rooms carry a lot of noise. Visitors came on day passes for the open bar, and groups were drinking, dancing in the pool and playing their own speakers until almost midnight. Reggaeton blasted through the afternoon and evening, so it wasn’t quiet or family friendly. Service was generally okay, though not especially friendly. We wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re fine with loud music and drinking through much of the day and into the night.

The food was good, and the place had some lovely Christmas decorations. Nice accommodation. 👍👍

There isn’t much to this basic hotel, and the rooms feel like they belong in a one-star place. The music gets so loud it’s hard to hold a conversation. More seriously, the owner will pull out a gun, apparently to scare off locals using the beach access beside the hotel. That access has been restricted, affecting our community. For a genuinely welcoming, relaxing stay, I’d suggest Casa Amarilla.

A good weekend escape from the city. The food was very good, with a filling breakfast and a nice range of drinks and platters. I had a couple of room issues, but the staff fixed them quickly. Bring something for the mosquitoes, there are a lot of them.
