You can hear the ocean and waves from your room, and the beach is reached by steps. The staff were very helpful. Rooms and facilities are pretty basic, which matches the price. The location is great, though you do need an SUV to get there. We’d come back.

When I tried to pay by card on the day I stayed, I was told I couldn’t, even though Booking.com said card payment was possible. The photos also don’t match what’s there now, or at least I imagine they’re old and from when the place first opened. The pool shown isn’t available for all guests, the kitchen is very dirty and run-down, and the rooms aren’t clean or tidy. They need to improve the place so they can host people properly. If they keep letting it deteriorate, I won’t return. I love travelling, and Santa Catalina is one of my favorite places to visit. This was one of the spots I hadn’t tried yet, but given its condition, I won’t be back.
