Hotel Plaza

For our overnight stop, this turned out to be a pretty good last-minute find for the price. I wouldn’t choose it for a long or fancy stay. The rooms are basic, but clean and inexpensive, and ours was in an individual rowhouse style unit with parking right beside it, more like a motel than a hotel. The pool was nice, with shaded tables and bathrooms, though the tables badly need repairs. The place is clean and well kept despite the obvious age and wear. The restaurant mostly does sandwiches and burgers, nothing special, but our server was great and the bar serves by the pool.

A basic but comfortable place, and it looks renewed. The beds were great and everything was very clean. I liked being able to park right in front of the room, almost like at your own house. It’s not in the middle of the city, but still fairly central. A 3 star place that earns 4.

At $40, this was much cheaper than the other hotels nearby. It’s motel style, with parking right in front of the room. The beds weren’t comfortable, which wasn’t a surprise, but it was clean enough. There’s a pool, and breakfast costs $3.50. Amazing for the price, location, and competition.

The beds and bathroom were clean, and the location is handy, just off the highway near a mall and outside Santiago. Reception was friendly and efficient. The place feels more like a motel than a hotel, though, and needs serious cleaning and maintenance. The walls inside and outside our room were filthy, and the access road from the highway needs repairs.
