We booked four nights but left after the second. The location is great and the room was clean, but there was barely space in the bedroom or bathroom. The electric shower didn't work, so there was no hot water, and the drain gurgled whenever we flushed the toilet. Breakfast was just eggs and hojaldra, with no other choices. We parked where they directed us when we arrived, then were asked to move to the back of the lot so restaurant customers could use the front. What? Never again.

We spent a day doing nothing but lounging in a hammock, and that was just right. The place is amazing, with two beaches within walking distance. One has a little freshwater creek and pool at its southern end, and a waterfall and swimming hole are a short drive and a walk through beautiful jungle away. Food at the Cabana and nearby restaurants was great. The owner is awesome, and the staff are kind and respectful. Some guests who accused people of being impolite seemed unfamiliar with the local culture. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived at night without a reservation and ended up staying for three nights. Even though the owner was busy, he kindly showed us the rooms. There wasn't a vegetarian dish on the menu, but he made one especially for my girlfriend. The people were super kind, and the place is lovely. Breakfast was awesome, with generous portions and a veggie option. There's also a small kitchen if you feel like cooking. Thank you, Mike!

I stayed here alone on my way to visit a friend, and I'd love to come back. My tiny house for two had air conditioning, a shower, and a wonderful view of the tropical garden. Everything was clean and cozy. There's a shared kitchen, plus a restaurant serving really good organic food. The owner was helpful and spoke several languages, so communication was easy. It's a magical spot for nature lovers, just minutes from a beautiful beach. The stay is affordable, with a generous breakfast included, and the food is affordable too. People in the village were cheerful and friendly, and there are several pubs and places to stay.

The little Cabanas were cozy and really pretty, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The location worked well for us: there are restaurants nearby, and the trails to the waterfall and Torio beach aren't far. You can also walk to the river in about five minutes. Mike and the staff were very nice during our stay in Torio. I'd definitely come back. Thanks!
