The bed was so comfortable that I slept great, even though the walls are a little thin and early risers heading out around 6am can be heard. The rooms are roomy and clean, with good hot water and easy temperature control, and you're close to both the bus and train stops. Breakfast has loads to choose from: fresh fruit and yogurt, croissants, avocado toast, almond milk and cereal for vegans, plus cheese, ham, and eggs made to order. After a Machu Picchu hike, you can shower for free while they keep your bags until you leave. They provide a clean towel and can lend soap or shampoo. The service really stood out. Someone met us at the train station and carried my bag up four flights, and everyone made us feel welcome. I’d happily come back and tell friends to stay here.

From the street, the hotel doesn't look like much, but the room inside was spacious, modern, and spotless. For the price, that was incredible. The man at reception was kind and helped with everything I needed, then carried my luggage up five floors.

Breakfast is ready from 4:30am, with local fruit, bread, freshly scrambled eggs, and hot drinks including coffee. Our room was clean, spacious, and new, and there was plenty of hot water. We were glad we picked 1911 for our one night in AC. The staff were very welcoming and let us check in early. It's about five minutes from the train and bus station, just off the main street, so it felt quieter than the hotels right beside the station.

Breakfast starts at 4:30am for people heading to Machu Picchu early. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location worked perfectly for us.

We had no real complaints during our Machu Picchu stay, except that the older flat-screen TV had no apps for watching a movie or anything.
