The local naturalists and crew guided us through an awe-inspiring, storied place, and I came away wanting to carry its appreciation forward as a humble ambassador. On our four-day cruise with La Perla, the team was professional, adventurous, and focused on their guests. The mix of skiff outings, piranha fishing, jungle walks, community visits, and history and culture felt just right. They also kept a steady eye on our comfort and enjoyment.

We took the Perla three-night cruise, and it went far beyond what I expected. The days were packed with activities in the best way, and the food was great. Our room was comfortable, too. The service was perfect, with thoughtful touches like early wakeups with coffee and snacks and having our boots cleaned after hikes. The naturalists were incredible at spotting wildlife. We saw well over a hundred river dolphins, they were everywhere. If I could, I’d give it seven out of five stars.
