I’ve stayed in hundreds of places around the world, and Shoffi’s friendliness really stood out. She and her husband offered plenty of tips, helped me plan day trips, and still gave me space. For a jungle location, the fibre internet was a surprise: fast and reliable for my video calls and online work, with no problems. Digital nomads should find it useful. The kitchen upstairs has what you need, even a powerful blender, which worked well for my smoothies. My room was comfortable, I slept well every night, and they clean often. There’s a great market right next door with fresh fruit, good food, and lots of choice. Bus stations and the airport are close too, and motortaxis are cheap. The spot is quiet as well. For me, all of that makes this the best place to stay in tarapoto.

I really enjoyed staying here. It’s a cute, clean, comfortable place beside the market, where there’s loads of exotic fruit to buy. There are lots of plants, and I loved the view from the terraza. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Ali even drove me to the airport and the atm. Gracias! :)

The owners are so lovely and made me feel even more at home than at home. It’s a really nice, quiet place outside the center and right by the market. The rooms are clean, the kitchen is nice, and the rooftop view from the hammocks is perfect. Thanks for being so kind!

My private room with its own bathroom cost 35 soles, and the hostel was well located. Shoffi was the warmest, kindest, most helpful host. Everything was perfect for me, and I’d recommend it 100% ❤️
