I couldn't stay more than one night in this dungeon. There are over 200 other hotels in Aguas Calientes, so avoid this one. It's super loud, right in front of the train station: nonstop noise until around 10 pm or later, then it starts again at 4 am. I had to sleep with earphones playing loud white noise. My room was in a far corner, and the streetlight reflector shone straight inside with full force. The breakfast they serve is a joke. I've tried two smaller, cheaper hotels that were more thoughtful and had such nice breakfasts to start the day. I didn't switch hotels because it was already too late.

It did the job and was decent for the price, especially in what might be one of the world's most touristy cities. I may have had my best sleep in Peru here. Just don't expect miracles.

The room was really small and smelled of gasoline from the train engines around the clock. For the included dinner there were two choices, but everyone in the family had to pick the same one. Checkout was at 9 am. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Avoid.

I'm staying here now and am really disappointed. The window blocks no sound at all: I can hear dogs, trains, the river, partygoers, screaming children, everything. So much for a good night's sleep before heading to Machu Picchu tomorrow morning. The room smells musty or moldy, and this doesn't feel like a 3-star hotel. The staff seem very friendly, though. I'll update after breakfast tomorrow. Hopefully that's a bit nicer. Ask your tour company for an upgrade!

For a short stay, it was good enough for us. It's a basic hotel in a convenient location, with a decent breakfast and eggs made to order. The room is a little small, and voices from the hallway carry clearly into the room. That's about it.
