The owner, Brother Kucho, and his family treated me like one of their own, sharing meals, culture, and so much more. I was there for a week in June/July 2021 and came away with lasting friendships and memories. Thank you for being so generous, I hope to return one day. Inti Wasi Hostel and Spiritual Center was clean and warm, and my room had fresh flowers. The showers were warm to hot, which felt like a luxury in Peru. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, right alongside the water. Restaurants, cafes, the train station, and bus stop are all nearby, with easy access to MP.

The calm atmosphere and sounds of the river mixed with shamanic music made this a lovely place to stay. I spent three days here and enjoyed every moment. I had breakfast each morning before exploring Machu Picchu Sanctuary and the Butterfly and Orchid conservation areas. Must stay!

The rushing river right beside this hostal drowned out other noise, and the owners were incredibly hospitable. We joined Kucho for some adventures, including Machu Picchu and an excursion down in the valley by the river. The rooms were comfortable, and it was easy to get to the train. Highly recommend it for a spiritual traveler on a budget. :)
