The garden feels especially romantic in the evening, when a guitarist often plays, and friendly llamas wandering around add a bit of magic to the peaceful grounds. The staff are warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Reception speaks great English and arranged tours and transport, which made our trip much easier. The location is convenient too, with taxis to nearby towns and attractions. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant and a fantastic breakfast buffet with fresh local fruit and lots of choices. We had a wonderful stay here.

The staff and Lizzy herself stood out most during our stay. They were patient, kind, and gave us genuinely heartfelt service. My daughter and I found the hotel a beautiful, tranquil oasis on the edge of Urubamba, in the heart of the Secret Valley. It felt luxurious and was excellent value for money. Everything was perfect, and I'd happily recommend Lizzy Wasi.

Lizzy is lovely and very helpful, and the hotel itself was hard to fault. My room was great, with an open fire, and the gardens are beautiful, a real sanctuary. The problem was the Manager, who was rude, argumentative, and combative. I've never seen someone in customer service behave that way. He accused us of not remembering that we'd asked for two bottles of water, then acted belligerently and rudely. We didn't buy them because the price was ridiculous, and got water in town instead.

The staff and owners gave us great recommendations for family friendly things to do nearby. We could walk to most of the places we wanted to visit in the city with our kids, and they were also good at arranging a ride when we needed one. The views were beautiful, the rooms comfortable and quiet, and we liked the food and drinks too. We didn't get to try many of the other amenities, but it's a lovely space.

The location is a little tricky for Uber, down a dirt alley, but they can arrange a great taxi service. We could easily see Machu in a day. The staff were so kind and looked after us, and the views and surrounding areas were lovely. The kids had fun on the trampoline and with the alpacas. It was a 10 out of 10 for us, and we'd definitely stay again.
