Titicaca Lodge

The balcony gave us spectacular photos, and the bedroom was really nice. We ate delicious food and felt so welcomed by Oswaldo and his family. They’re an excellent example of how a lodge should be. I’d definitely recommend staying with them in Amantaní.

I loved the lake view from the balcony, with flowers, trees, and birds all around. I wanted somewhere beautiful and far from city life where I could really be on my own, and Oswaldo’s place gave me that and more. It takes about 10 minutes by motorbike from Amantani port and costs 20 sols, or you can walk for around an hour. The beds were comfy and warm, the local food was delicious, and the fresh munya tea was amazing. Oswaldo is really friendly. I’d definitely recommend it. Thank you, Oswaldo!

We loved the delicious meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with the lovely terrace view from our room. Oswaldo and his family were such kind hosts, and we had a perfect stay at Titicaca lodge.

The host family were incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable with a great view. The food was fresh, varied, and delicious every time. Get up around 4:30 am if you can, the sunrise over the Titicaca lake is unbelievably beautiful. Exploring the island on foot was one of my best walks in Peru. Such a great experience, thanks so much! If I could, I’d give the place more than five stars.
