The staff and volunteers were the highlight for me. They were kind and helpful, and made my time in Arequipa memorable. Thank you Econunany!! ❤️ I stayed for a week and a half in February, which is off season. It was quieter, but there were still ways to meet people through the shared rooms, dance classes, yoga, bar, Spanish classes, and other activities. I booked a great Colca Canyon tour through the hostel, and they had other tours available as well. There were thoughtful extras like tea and coffee all day, breakfast included, a clothing swap bin, paid laundry, a patio, and rooftop access. It was a relaxing place to hang out and reset. Security was good, and reception was open 24/7.

The comfortable beds made for a very relaxed stay, even though the rooms themselves are basic. Breakfast was simple but fine, and I liked the small patio at the back. The hostel is fairly big, though it wasn't very busy while I was there. Reception staff were always helpful and gave me cafe and restaurant suggestions. It was rainy season and quiet, so the hostel activities didn't happen because there weren't enough people. I wish the team had encouraged guests to join in, though I understand there weren't many around.

It felt a lot like home here. The staff were so sweet and helpful, and the rooms got cleaned every day. There are plenty of little corners to relax in, including a beautiful rooftop you can use. Great hostel for the price!

The people here made it feel like home. Johana was the first person I met when I checked in, and she made me feel welcome right away. I'd looked at about five hostels before choosing this one, and after that welcome it was an easy decision. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and it's close to central Arequipa. Thanks Econunay, I hope I can come back soon!

The relaxed atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff made this a great place to stay, and it was kept very clean. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and tasty, just right to start the day. The location is excellent, within a short walk of the main square, restaurants, and other essentials. It felt very safe, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Arequipa.
