Bad. The staff were rude and unprofessional.

The location was great, but the apartment they offered us was in awful shape. Its bathrooms were old, with limescale and mold, the sheets looked worn, and the kitchen was in terrible condition. The pots were broken and burnt, so you couldn’t even boil water. I think the facilities need renovation, and they shouldn’t rent an apartment out like that. We were charged almost the same as we would have paid for three double rooms. There were five of us, and we had asked for two double rooms and a single. No single room was available. They offered another double room instead, but it had no hot water, then suggested the apartment. At first we thought that would make our itinerary easier.

The reception staff were friendly, and the room was just comfortable enough for a quick overnight stop. But there was music from 6 a.m. and the hotel was noisy, with no soundproofing. Room prices seemed to depend on the staff member, and although the desk clearly said cards were accepted, we couldn’t pay by credit card. We spent 100 soles on this second night and didn’t even get breakfast.

Being right in the middle of Arequipa's Plaza de Armas made it easy to get everywhere, and the room was excellent. Everything else was fine too. The one problem was the young woman at the night reception, who either didn’t pay attention to questions or didn’t seem willing to help.
