Mirabel at the front desk was friendly and knew a lot about the area. Breakfast was included, with plenty of choices, and they can make eggs the way you like if you ask. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice firm bed. We were right in the historic district, an 8 minute walk from Plaza de Armas, with lots of restaurants, rooftop bars, coffee shops, and stores nearby. There’s no elevator, so keep the stairs in mind. The shower pressure could be better, and there was no safe or full length mirror in the room. Music from the kitchen and coffee bar was loud every night. My room, 208, was affected, so I’d ask for one toward the back of the property.

My adult daughter and I stayed two nights in early May 2016, and I’d definitely return. It’s a small hotel, not a hostel, and the location is good. Our bedroom at the back was spacious, clean, and quiet, with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was included, and they served eggs on the second day.

The breakfast was delicious: omelettes or scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, tomato, avocado, rolls, tea, coffee, and fresh juices. It was served at the front of the building. The staff were lovely, and the rooms were clean and very quiet. Wi-Fi worked well. The place reminded me of Spain in lots of ways. The rooms were generous in size, with plenty of orange if you like that. The entrance is stunning, as you can see in my photos. Check-in at 2am was easy. Beds were comfortable and sheets clean. The toilet and shower were okay, though hot water took a long time to come through. They supplied a shampoo sachet and a small bar of soap. I nearly knocked myself out on the step into the bathroom because I didn’t see it. I had my washing done here for 14 soles. It came back clean and pressed within 24 hours.
