The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean. It's a basic 2 star place in downtown Ayacucho, so expect some noise at night. The breakfast was simple but good, with coffee and orange juice. I found the beds too firm, and there isn't anywhere to store or prepare food, so you'll need to sort that out yourself. The showers are small, and there were only a few shower supplies at first, though I expect you could ask for more at the front desk. It's about 20 minutes from the airport, so arrange a certified taxi or driver ahead of time. I wouldn't recommend having non-natives drive in Ayacucho. They do accept credit cards.

My family got sick, and they found us a doctor who would make house calls. They really treated us like family, and I mean that.

Good rooms and great service, though the mosquitoes come out in the evenings!
