If you're catching an early flight or traveling for work, this place may not suit you. There was no hot water, iron, or breakfast available, so I wouldn't spend my money here for a quick stay.

The lunch here is a favorite in Ayacucho, and breakfast is worth making time for too. I loved the lovely patios, tasty food, and attentive service. It's only steps from la plaza. Some rooms do get a little noisy, though. Highly recommended.

The bathroom could've been cleaner, and breakfast had plenty to eat but not much variety. Otherwise, the room was spacious and quiet, with comfortable beds. The shower worked well and the water was very hot. Parking felt very secure, and the hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and the Plaza De Armas.

We spent some time here in March and April 2020. Our room was neat, and the building has lovely architecture. Even though the hotel is right in the center, traffic noise didn't bother us. The food was excellent, especially the pizza Wilder makes if you ask for one. The staff and owner go a little out of their way to make guests comfortable. I'd recommend staying here in Ayacucho.

Santa Rosa Hotel made me feel comfortable during my stay in Ayacucho, Huamanga city, and I had what I needed close at hand. I especially liked the patio, where you can have a meal or listen to cool music. There's also a restaurant on the first floor serving a range of typical Ayacucho dishes.
