Real América Hotel

The woman who serves guests is one of the best, but the hotel's service leaves a lot to be desired. They advertise hot water, internet, cable, and a smart TV. Getting hot water there feels like a luxury, you have to call and call for it. I think the internet is from a modem, because I can't imagine anything slower. Cable gives you only five local channels, and the smart TV is just a flat screen with nothing connected to it. I paid for what they promised when I arrived, but only got it after complaining every day. If I came back, I'd say no.

The hotel is four blocks from the main square, with shops of all kinds close by. It's on a commercial street, so traffic noise comes into the rooms. Prices are affordable, the rooms are fine for what you pay, and there's hot water. Wi-Fi isn't great, but covers the basics. Breakfast isn't included in the room rate, though there are nearby places to get it.

Beds are comfortable and hot water comes straight away, so it's not a bad place. The internet could be faster, and traffic noise makes the second-floor rooms loud. A glass door at the entrance would help. Breakfast is served really late, and they don't keep to the schedule.

José gave me a warm welcome when I arrived, and the hotel has a nice feel to it. It's a very comfortable executive hotel, though I heard some noise from the water pipe in the morning. Breakfast wasn't a buffet, which would have been a good fit for a hotel in this category. Good vibes!
