The café at the back, beside a small but pretty garden, is one of the better points here. They don't serve breakfast, but the café is worth a visit, especially for the (Dutch) apple pie. The café Wi-Fi works well. The hotel's Wi-Fi, though, fails constantly and was usable only about half the time, which is why I gave three stars. Staff were around and pleasant, and the rooms were clean and tidied daily. They're basic, with hot water while it lasts. The entrance faces a busy street, so if noise bothers you, ask for a room at the side or back. The place is two blocks from the plaza de armas. Recommended, with those caveats.

We had a street-facing room and it was really quiet. The hotel was clean, with comfortable beds and hot water, and there's a good coffee shop inside. Staff were very nice and helpful too.

The price turned out to be cheaper in person than the advertised rate, which was a pleasant surprise. The place was still clean and comfortable, so the value is what impressed me most.
