The beds were decent, though not the best airport beds I’ve had on this trip, and I liked being able to choose firm or soft pillows. The room had what we needed, but it didn’t feel like more than a three-star place. The bathroom was too small, and breakfast was disappointing compared with other hotels on our trip. The tables were uncomfortable for your legs, too. Getting there was a hassle. Waiting up to 30 minutes for a shuttle late at night wasn’t appealing, and we kept hearing “10 more minutes.” There was no permanent hotel sign, so being told to walk one way and then somewhere else felt a bit sketchy. A cab would probably cost $10. Once the van finally arrived and left, the ride seemed to take ages. For departure, they told us to be at the shuttle 10 minutes early, but we left five minutes late. Check whether the on-site airport hotel, Super Wyndham, is competitively priced.

Breakfast runs from 4:30 to 10, which worked well for travelers on different schedules. We also enjoyed the food and drinks at the beer bar, especially the chips, and the staff were very friendly. The airport is nearby, though road closures and traffic can make the trip tricky. When we ran into that, only an experienced driver seemed able to find a quick detour. There isn’t much in the neighborhood, and it’s usually chaotic, dusty, and full of traffic. Faucette outlet is within walking distance, though, and shopping there around the year-end sales could be worth a try.

Daniel looked after me at breakfast, and he was genuinely kind and eager to help. The hotel service was really good. The rooms are spacious, simple, and elegant. It wasn’t quite as close to the airport as I’d expected, but it’s not far.

The room was large and modern, and having the buffet start at 4 am was convenient. Sometimes, though, refills took too long. We also weren’t told clearly how far away the hotel was: the shuttle runs every 30 minutes, and the drive took over 20 minutes. Waiting for it and then riding meant nearly an hour to get there. Reception said they’d unload our suitcases and take them straight to the room, which added another wait before we could sleep. If you arrive late and need to get back to the airport early the next morning, you lose a lot of time in between, so this isn’t a great option.
