We got a great night's sleep in a clean room, and the staff were so helpful. We left at 4 a.m. to climb Machu Pichu before breakfast started, and the receptionist had already put a packed breakfast on the desk for us without being asked. After our hike, they also let us use the room past checkout so we could shower. Definitely recommend it.

We were woken by drilling at 7 a.m., and could hear the street at night. The room is pretty noisy, though not the worst. There’s no cell service, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the room, which makes it hard to look up information for wherever you’re going next, especially with little to do in Aguas Calientes. The location is convenient, though in a small town it seems like most places would be. The room itself was decent, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower with good pressure.

The staff were wonderful, and the owner and his family were very pleasant. My room looked out over the whole central walk, with a really comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a good-sized layout. Breakfast was included, which I hadn’t expected, and the price was great. There was good Wi-Fi, cable TV, and an ensuite bath too. There was some noise, but it’s a crowded area and I imagine you’d hear it at any hotel there. The hotel is close to the hot pools, and there’s a lovely courtyard-like walking area by the river. Many thanks to the staff and owners for a very pleasant stay.

Getting up to the hotel at the top of the hill can be a bit of a climb. The street there is full of vendors offering massages and trying to sell food or drinks from nearby restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is basic, and breakfast is basic too. My room smelled musty and stayed cold. Even after a shower, the towel was still wet and cold the next day. Noise was a lot while I was there, with constant banging on tables and someone playing drums nearby. I didn't care much for the hotel or the service, although it did meet my main need for a place to sleep. At one point the receptionist told me my room had been canceled. Once I showed her the Hotels.com booking, suddenly it wasn't canceled anymore. She seemed grumpy and tired of the job, though language difficulties may have played a part. Breakfast was a coffee, a glass of juice, two dry rolls, and either an apple or a banana.

Great location and one of the best quality-for-price options in Agua Calientes. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a very good bed. You can easily take breakfast away. It can get noisy depending on the other guests, but at this price that was totally fine.
