Villa La Punta

La Punta is an interesting neighborhood, and the people are friendly. The room was fine and the WiFi worked well. Breakfast was adequate, though small, just eggs and bread. It’s an old building, so noise carries badly. Getting a decent night’s sleep depends on other guests being considerate. Breakfast service starts making noise at 07.00, which is understandable, but guests moving around kept making noise until after midnight. There doesn’t seem to be any expectation or enforcement around quiet hours. It felt more like a hostel than a B&B. They charge cash in dollars, then offer a really bad exchange rate if you pay in soles. We come to Lima every year and probably won’t stay here again.

The price was okay, but I expected a better stay. The breakfast wasn’t tasty, especially for a place in Peru, known for its food. Customer service was lacking too. I came three different times because I was trying to rest, but they were doing construction on the third floor. They couldn’t stop working, and it felt like customers weren’t a priority. I’m leaving the video as evidence. Not a good experience.
