The garden around the chalets was a lovely spot to relax, and the mountain views were beautiful. We stayed here at the start of our Huascaran loop cycling tour and really loved it. The chalets are extremely cozy. Monica and Yorch were great hosts, spoke perfect English, and made our stay special. Yorch is also a very good artist, and works in his studio in the main building.

The owners and cook were so friendly and made us feel like part of the family. They also helped us arrange local hikes and find transport around the area. Our group had a wonderful time at Montana Jazz. The bungalows were comfortable and well kept, and the bedding was warm and cozy, even though the nights can get chilly. Ask about seeing the art studio!

The views are to die for, and every meal was delicious. Our bungalow was comfortable and well kept. We had a wonderful trip from the moment we arrived until we left, and we’re looking forward to going again!

My favorite part was waking up to the mountain view each morning. Louis also provided a farewell fire on our last night. After our 8-hour bus ride, Monica welcomed us like family and had squash soup ready, which I could have eaten every day. Kooky made many meals with locally sourced ingredients, mostly gathered from the beautiful gardens on the property. I’m sure I’ll be back.

We can’t wait to come back next year! Everything went smoothly, from check-in to cleanliness to the owners and kitchen chef. The people running this little paradise go out of their way to help with anything, and you can tell it comes naturally. Absolutely nothing to moan about. =)
