My AirPods disappeared from my room. The manager was supportive, but the staff weren't. I filed a police report. I know I won't get them back, but I want people to know what happened.

This place deserves more reviews. I had a great stay, and everyone was helpful. I was very sick, and the owner helped me so much. The room was clean, and a lot of things had been renovated. It was really great!

The rooms were clean enough and the location was good, but this felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Breakfast was average. The first night there was no hot water in the shower, and each bed had only one small pillow. The small room safes weren't fixed down, so someone could easily carry one off.

The town was nearly fully booked when we arrived, so we ended up finding this place. It wasn't particularly cheap, but the rooms were clean, the shower was nice, and the service was very good. One employee even went a few kilometers to the bus station to get our ticket for the next leg of the trip.

Our room wasn't soundproof, and we were woken by the next room at 5:30am. On arrival, the owner tried to sell us a Taquile and Uros tour for a “special price” of 90 sol per person. We found the same tour, including everything and a fast yacht, for 55 during high season, and I'm sure we could have negotiated it lower. They also convert the Peruvian soles, the local currency, to USD at an abusive exchange rate if your Booking price is in another currency, which lets them make extra dollars from you. I looked through the reviews and saw this seems to be their usual practice. I wish I'd noticed before booking.
