My sister and I had a lovely stay. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot, and there was cable TV, all for a great price. Breakfast was delicious, especially the omelette. We also enjoyed the tour we booked through reception.

I spent a week here on my own and felt welcome and safe. The staff were attentive, and the place was clean and cozy. It’s right by the plaza, with a good breakfast and tours on offer. I’d stay again.

We had to deal with several problems, and the hostel handled them badly. First, we were given keys to a room that still had someone’s luggage in it. The next room had no water in the bathroom, and when we raised it, staff said they already knew. We went through the night and the following day without being able to use the bathroom. There was no Wi-Fi either, and a sofa blocked the emergency exit. That felt dangerous. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are better options in central Puno.

The location was good and so was breakfast, and the room itself was pretty decent. The bunk beds shook a lot whenever someone rolled over, though, and the shower leaked. Still, not a bad place to stay.
