The owner is so cheerful and full of life, such a lovely person. Her son helped us find parking and book a tour to the islands, and it all went very smoothly. The beds are huge and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, juice, bread, and eggs. I highly recommend this place, especially for the lovely owner.

What made the biggest difference was how welcome Gevi, her mom, and her little daughter made me feel. Her daughter wanted to help carry my suitcase, even though she was only a little taller than it. It was adorable and made me forget how tired I was after the long bus ride from La Paz to Puno. Gevi quickly suggested a decent restaurant in town, which I really appreciated since I was exhausted. Her mother made me smile too. She insisted I finish my coffee before boarding the day tour bus waiting outside the house, like a kindhearted grandma making sure the kids are well fed. It felt like she truly wanted everyone to have a happy stay. The house is cute, and I loved the little backyard. The room was much bigger than I expected, with a hot shower, fast internet, and towels provided. They change the beds every day. It’s a cosy, safe area, just a five-minute walk from the main square. I’ve travelled quite a bit and stayed in many places, and Gevi’s place is near the top of my list.

Genni is a great host who connects you with the people and businesses you need. The breakfast was excellent, and they serviced the room daily. It had everything you need and more.

A very good location, with spacious rooms and a great breakfast, especially the coffee. The owner was really friendly and helpful. It felt like a safe place for solo travelers, including women traveling alone.
