Premier Plaza Hotel

The location made it easy to reach the main square, market, restaurants, and pizzerias, and on holidays you can watch the parade from outside. The price was very reasonable. Inside, the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well organized, and the TVs had good picture quality with apps such as Netflix and YouTube. The staff were friendly and ready to help. There’s also a good dining room, or you can order food directly from the hotel. I had an amazing stay, definitely worth 5 stars, and would recommend it 100%.

I was given one price, left my things, and went for a walk around the city. An hour later the owner called to say the staff had made a mistake and I needed to pay 20 soles more or collect my belongings. I ended up taking everything out in the middle of the night and finding another hotel. They didn't seem to care that I was being put out at that hour, so I don't know that I'd feel safe staying there. The rooms and TVs are old too, which may be why they don't post photos. Terrible experience. Don't stay there.

Right by Plaza de Armas and the restaurants, so the location was perfect. They even called a taxi for us on our last day, which was really kind. We were a little concerned after reading the reviews, but we had a really good stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was hot water. I highly recommend it!

They quoted one price, then said VAT had to be paid separately when I asked for a receipt. A bad experience.
