The room has mold. Hot water was good, and breakfast is optional.

It’s right in the center, and the hotel was clean with hot water, TV, and WiFi. Prices start at 40 soles.

The one thing I appreciated was getting a triple room for the price of the double I’d reserved. The rest was pretty average, despite Japanese bloggers calling this hostel “the best!” I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The building and my room both seemed questionably clean, and the shower in the room wasn’t very clean either. The air felt stuffy, especially in the poorly ventilated room. My laundry never dried and even the bed felt damp, lol. There was no hair dryer, so I had to use my own to dry the clothes. WiFi barely reached the back rooms. Breakfast is supposed to start at 6am, but I was late every day, missed the tour bus, and didn’t get breakfast. I told the staff the bus left at 6:30, and they apologized and said breakfast would be ready by 6am the next day. They were late again. They’re friendly, but didn’t keep that promise, so for an early tour it might be better to sort out breakfast yourself. There’s a tasty Chinese restaurant nearby, lol, and a bus reservation company just to the left as you leave the entrance, which is handy.

The rooms don’t have windows, so they can feel a bit stuffy. It wasn’t a huge issue, but that’s why I’m not giving five stars. The place was clean, well located, and the people were very attentive. I’d definitely come back.
