Getting around was easy because the hotel is right by the plaza center. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and reliable. Breakfast was decent and varied from day to day. There were good places to have dinner nearby too, which made the stay pleasant and convenient.

The location is perfect, and the room and bed were small but okay. Street noise came through, though, and there wasn't a proper window, so getting fresh air and sleeping were difficult. I also sent out my laundry, but one shirt came back ruined. When I asked if anything could be done, all I got was an apology. I expected at least not to be charged for the laundry. Breakfast could use work too, the bread I had was hard and dry.

My travel agent arranged two nights here. The location is the hotel's best feature, and the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and fairly well shielded from street noise. I did have trouble getting hot water for a shower in this cold climate, so I had to take a point off.

The staff were friendly and ready to help when needed. Our room and bathroom were bigger than many others we'd stayed in in Peru, and the hotel is close to the main town square. Breakfast had lots of buffet choices. There was even a postbox in the hotel, which was handy for sending postcards and something you rarely see in hotels now.

The location was good, and breakfast was very good, with pancakes. But I got a room with no window or fresh air, which was a real problem at 3,800 meters. They should describe rooms with and without windows separately, and probably price them differently, since the photos don't show what you actually get.
