A comfortable stay overall, with friendly, helpful staff and generally clean rooms, though some details were missed. The free breakfast was very limited and disappointing. The grounds are quiet, but there's not much to do besides relax. It feels like a step above other hotels in Chachapoyas, and the price is higher too.

The grounds were peaceful, a welcome break from the busy hotels around the plaza. Our family of six stayed for seven nights, and the Ensenada staff looked after us like family. They paid attention to everything, from favorite foods for the kids to bringing a heater for our room. When our taxi arrived from town, someone even came out with an umbrella. The manager was kind and knew the area well. We relied on him to arrange excursions and the next part of our trip, and he even offered to drop off our laundry on his way out of town. We were so grateful for the help and hospitality that we changed our plans to stay at a sister hotel in Cajamarca after Chachapoyas.

The rooms were quiet, the staff friendly, and the air smelled of eucalyptus. The beds were a little stiff, though, and getting into town can be difficult if you want to go out.

My family and I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Chachapoyas. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, the atmosphere was nice, and the view was good. The restaurant food was delicious. I'm glad we found it, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay. If I return to Amazonas, I'll stay here again.

I’d planned to stay just one night, but I liked this hillside hotel near Chachapoyas enough to make it three.
