The food is excellent, though the prices feel pretty steep for an average budget.

The room itself is small but pleasant and clean, and the portions are reasonable. The value is harder to justify: prices are high for the quality. The mixed ceviche seafood was too salty, and the sudado was only mediocre, without the kind of flavor that makes you want to return. Jalea was the one decent dish, though it is mostly fried, so it doesn't take much preparation skill.

The soda and the service were the only good parts. The pork rinds tasted stale, and the cancha was very dry and had no salt, with a charge for each portion. Both the cream and the squid were far too salty. The chaufa rice had no flavor and seemed to have been made without soy sauce, and it was under-salted too.

The shrimp were tasty, but having the shells on made them really hard to eat. Service could be better. We did appreciate how quickly they tracked us down outside and returned the backpack one of us had left behind.
