Palacio Manco Capac by Ananay Hotels

After a tough trek in the Peruvian Andes, this place had all the comfort I could ask for. It feels like a beautifully restored museum, with lovely views and plenty of charm. The staff were some of the kindest and most helpful I’ve come across. Don’t miss the passion fruit pisco sour at the bar, it was amazing. A great stay for a reasonable price, and I’d happily recommend it.

We had such a good time here, and I’d come back next time I’m in Cusco. The hotel is lovely, with amazing views and a quiet setting that’s still convenient. Everyone on staff was warm and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Leaving just made us miss Cusco more.

The terrace view and the alpacas made our stay feel especially memorable. There are even Inca ruins on the grounds, which add a lovely bit of history. Palacio Manco Capac is gorgeous, with tasteful decor and lots of character. The staff were welcoming and kind throughout, and we felt at home. Highly recommend it for a stay in Cusco.

Being right beside the lower entrance to Sacsayhuamán was a big plus. I’d suggest taking a taxi up to the top entrance and walking down to avoid a lot of stairs. The hotel felt like home, with a cozy lobby stocked with coca tea and really comfortable beds for recovering after sightseeing. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fresh fruit, hot dishes, and espresso, cappuccino, and other coffees at no extra charge. The food was phenomenal, the staff were incredibly kind, and they even upgraded our room for free. We also loved the friendly resident alpacas and the beautiful view of the city and nearby school. Beautiful property, great value, and I’d absolutely stay again. One of the best hotels in Cusco, at a great price.
