I wonder if some reviews might be for the other Hotel Polo down the road, which is a little nicer. The staff here were exceptionally friendly, so they get five stars from me. But my room was so tiny I could barely move around, and the walls were so thin I heard my neighbor's whole bathroom routine. At 3 am, I could also hear people getting ready for tours. The neighborhood was a bit loud too, with car alarms and dogs barking now and then. Bring earplugs. The internet was very slow and unreliable, though maybe that's a Cusco thing. It did feel safe. If you just need a cheap bed for a quick trip to see excursions, it may do the job. If you want more than that, this hotel isn't for you.

A calm little spot in the middle of the city. The rooms are cozy and have a really distinctive design. Staff were kind and knew their stuff, and the fee felt fair. I'd happily come back. Thank you!
