Luxury Hotel Inkari

I was very disappointed. The bathroom was grubby, needs updating, and the water wouldn’t drain. There was no complimentary water, kettle, or other extra items I’d expect from a hotel with “luxury” in its name. I asked for a twin room and had to argue with the receptionist before they eventually moved us. Not sure luxury belongs in the title.

The rooms are quite nice and up to standard, and the city-center location near Kennypark is convenient. But the price seems high for what you get, and the staff came across as unprofessional. Breakfast was limited and wasn’t replenished reliably. We had to call staff several times for more food, and there were no coffee cups when we arrived. The gym was in poor shape, with many machines out of order. The pool is small, though the sauna was satisfactory. There are several service and amenity issues to work on.

There’s good potential here, but the place needs some refurbishing and restyling, and all the marble is too much. The regular sauna was cold; the wet sauna, though, was very good.

The food was fine, but dinner took over an hour for two simple dishes, and one plate wasn’t what we ordered. At breakfast, staff weren’t very attentive and left used plates on the tables. The spa area is nice, but there was barely anyone around to help. When we asked for locker keys, we got one for a locker that was already occupied. The sauna temperature kept changing, and staff didn’t seem concerned about keeping it steady. Service was slow in general, and reception couldn’t answer a basic question about when dinner started. Nice hotel, but not worth the price.
