We got there at 5.30 am and were able to rest in the room before breakfast was brought to our door that same day. The owner was incredibly friendly and could advise us about anything. Getting into town was easy and cheap by minibus, so the location wasn't a problem. Really good value for the money.

Public transport stops right outside, and the hostal sits between the beach and the city centre. The rooms are nice and reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Chiclayo is CHAOS, so staying just outside downtown made sense to me. It was easy to get to Lambayeque with less hassle from here, on the way to the beach town of Pimentel. A perfectly good, economical hostal.
